Based in Washington, D.C. under the leadership of Investor William Sport and now with Brian Marvel, Director of Operations, the Hill Restaurant Group embodies a fresh and straightforward philosophy for the Capitol Hill neighborhood. The mission is to create memorable hospitality experiences, serve superb food, deliver quality service, and exceed expectations. This foundation allows The Hill Restaurant Group to consistently achieve these objectives.

In 2017, William Sport acquired the seven locations that now form the Hill Restaurant Group. He recently collaborated with Brian Marvel, a proficient leader in operations who has contributed to the growth and expansion of several multi-unit restaurant groups along the East Coast. Brian and his team of experienced professionals inject fresh and innovative ideas into the burgeoning hospitality market in the D.C. area.

"We want these places to be ones we ourselves would want to visit," Brian Marvel expressed, and that's precisely what they accomplished. The team initiated a comprehensive strategy to revitalize each establishment in the winter of 2018.

Hawk ‘n’ Dove, Lola’s, Boxcar Tavern, Playa Ocho Cantina, Ophelia’s Fish House, and Stadium Events exemplify the team's commitment to providing a fun, entertaining, and enjoyable experience. Through the fresh evolution of concepts, design, and menu development, Sport and Marvel have successfully cultivated each venue with its unique ambiance and culture.
